Windshield wipers making noise
My wipers are making a chattering noise and missing spots. What should I do?
First, with a soft cloth, clean the windshield and wiper blades using a mixture of baking soda, dishwashing liquid and water.
Next, make sure the wiper blade is correctly installed using the proper adapter.
If the problem continues, adjust the tension by stopping the blades in the upright position. Hold blade at the point of connection to the arm and pull the blade away from the glass approximately two inches. Let the blade snap back to the glass. This process may need to be repeated a couple of times depending on the situation.
