On rainy days, the car wiper will not move, or not work, can be dealt with from the following aspects:
1. Refer to the vehicle manual to find out what types of wiper blades are used.
2. Pay attention to whether the way the support rod is connected to the wiper rocker arm correctly. Some arms are screwed to the rocker's arm, while others are bolted.
3. Pull up the wiper and touch it with your finger to check whether there is any damage to the cleaned rubber refill and its elasticity. If the rubber ages, hardens, or cracks, the wiper blade is broken.
4. During the test, put the wiper switch at various speed positions to check whether the wiper maintains a certain speed at different speeds. Especially in the state of intermittent work, but also pay attention to the wiper in the movement and whether to maintain a certain speed.
5. Check the wiper state and whether the wiper rod has an uneven swing or leakage phenomenon of the wiper. If the following three conditions occur, the wiper is unqualified.
First, the swing is not smooth, the wiper is not beating properly;
Second, the surface between the rubber and glass can't completely fit, and produce wipe residue.
Finally, the glass surface appears as a water film, and fine streaks, fog, and linear residues occur on the glass after wiping.
6. During the test, attention should be paid to whether there is abnormal noise in the motor, especially when the wiper motor "hums" and does not rotate. This indicates that the mechanical transmission part of the wiper rust dead or stuck place, at this time should immediately close the wiper switch, in order to prevent the burning of the motor.
7. Some people believe that the longer the blade, the bigger the area and the better the view. In fact, the wiper blade is not the longer the better. Increasing the length of the wiper blade increases the visibility, but it also increases the load on the wiper motor and wiper rod. The wrong size can also cause the wipers to fail.
